EIN PresswireTell ChatGPT to move your Friday posts to Monday, and they move. The new plugin also builds Instagram and Facebook comment-to-DM funnels from a chat.
If you already draft your posts in ChatGPT, copying them into a scheduler is the step you can drop. The post goes from the chat straight onto the schedule.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, November 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Blotato is now an official plugin in the ChatGPT Plugins directory, so ChatGPT users can schedule a week of posts or set up an Instagram comment-to-DM funnel by describing it in a chat. — Sabrina Ramonov, Founder, Blotato
The plugin is published by Blotato, the social media scheduling and DM automation platform built for AI agents, and was listed after OpenAI's developer verification and review. Setup steps are in Blotato's walkthrough of the ChatGPT plugin for social media. This plugin also works on Codex.
One of the example requests on the listing reads: "Move all my posts scheduled for Friday to Monday at the same times." ChatGPT finds the Friday posts in the user's Blotato schedule and moves each one. Publishing covers nine platforms: X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest and Bluesky.
Another listed request builds a comment-to-DM funnel, the setup behind reels that send a link to anyone who comments a keyword: "When someone comments GUIDE on any of my Instagram posts, DM them asking for their email, then DM them my guide." ChatGPT creates the automation in the user's Blotato account as a draft. Once the user switches it on, it keeps running on Blotato's side after the chat is closed. By default it also posts a short public reply under each triggering comment, which users can turn off. Comments, direct messages and DM automations work on Instagram and Facebook only.
What is new is how Blotato gets into ChatGPT. Until now, connecting the two meant entering Blotato's server address as a custom MCP connection by hand. The plugin installs from its listing instead. OpenAI says whether a given plugin can be installed depends on a user's plan, workspace, role and region.
The plugin requires a paid Blotato plan, starting at $29 per month, with details on the Blotato plans and pricing page. Blotato's 7-day free trial covers the web app only and does not include the MCP access the plugin uses.
The plugin connects to the same hosted server customers already use from Claude and other AI agents, so connected social accounts, scheduled posts and automations are already in place once the plugin is connected. Blotato's 2026 launches of analytics, comments and messaging, and DM automations are all available in the ChatGPT conversation. Founder Sabrina Ramonov built Blotato on $0 in funding to run her own content operation solo.
